Study visit of MONTEB students to the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro

As part of the Introduction to Businesscourse, first-year students of the Economics and Business (MONTEB) study program had the opportunity study visit the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro (STP). The visit was organized by professor Boban Melović PhD, and teaching associates Dragana Ćirović MSc and Jovana Čabarkapa, with the aim of familiarizing students with the practical aspects of the functioning of the contemporary innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem in Montenegro.

The host of the visit was the executive director of STP, Valentina Radulović MSc, who introduced the students to the mission, strategic priorities, and program activities of the Science and Technology Park. Special emphasis was placed on opportunities for financing innovative projects, mentorship programs, and the various forms of support that STP provides to young people, all of which enabled students to gain a deeper understanding of how modern innovation institutions operate and sparked strong interest among them. Following the presentation, a guided tour of the NTP infrastructure was organized, during which students had the opportunity to learn more about support programs, facilities designated for startups, and various initiatives the STP develops to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in Montenegro.

Such visits represent a valuable educational experience for students, as they enable them to connect theoretical knowledge with real-world business environment and gain additional motivation for developing their own innovative ideas and entrepreneurial initiatives.
