Welcome first year students

Welcome, freshmen!
The Faculty of Economics at the University of Montenegro hosted a welcoming ceremony for first-year students of the Undergraduate Academic and Undergraduate Applied studies programs, as well as the MONTEB – Business and Economics program.

The new generation was welcomed by Dean Prof. Dr. Mijat Jocović;  Head of the MONTEB program Prof. Dr. Maja Baćović and Head of the Center for International Cooperation Dr. Milica Pešić.

The freshmen had the opportunity to get acquainted with the Faculty, study programs, and possibilities for international cooperation, internships, and student engagement, as well as the opportunities awaiting them during their studies.

"What should distinguish students of the Faculty of Economics is the freedom to ask questions, to doubt and critically examine the knowledge they acquire—and even the authorities imparting that knowledge. Believe in the authority of knowledge, for knowledge is not reached through shortcuts, but through hard work, persistence, and a willingness to learn," said Dean Jocović.

The ceremony also provided an opportunity for students to meet the professors and teaching staff who will guide them throughout their first year of studies.
